Impulse puppy

A few pictures from the first night and following day when we brought Neeko home.

Les and I had talked about getting a dog. He wanted a shepherd, shepherd mix, husky or husky mix. I just wanted a dog. Where I work, we have an online classifieds for employee use only. I believe my company/network has over 8,000 employees. One day, while at work, a lady ran across a posting for puppies from an oops litter, complete with a link for pictures. They were beyond cute, and I was smitten. I took pictures with my phone of the computer screen, and wrote down the contact information. This was a Tuesday. I went home that evening and showed Les the pictures. I called the poster that night. The next evening, Wednesday, May 5, 2010,we went, "just to look" at the puppies. Needless to say, we came home with the beautiful girl in the pictures above. We had NOTHING for a puppy. We had to make a PetsMart run, where we purchased a crate, food, bowls, collar and leash. We also met the wonderful Stefanie that night, whom we have since become friends with. Brought our little girl home, and have loved her since.

We were told the puppies were about 8 weeks old, so we say her birthday is March 1, 2010.
