May Meat Pick Up II

This morning Les and I met Rodney to pick up our meat order. He will now be delivering every other month, so I won't pick up from him again until July. Because of this, I ordered quite a bit of meat.

55 lbs beef heart. Included in this was one bison heart and two veal hearts, a nice little bonus.



20 lbs beef lung.



10 lbs pork liver.



A total of 25 lbs pork lung.



Pork hearts and more pork lung.



Two 20 lb bags of pork hearts, for a total of 50 lbs.



My freezers are packed. I have a 30 lb case of turkey hearts thawing in the back bathtub, and I'm hoping with some clever freezer Tetris I can squeeze them in after portioning.
