I feed twice daily. The smaller meals are breakfast, the larger meals are dinner.
This past week, I fed eight different proteins-beef, venison, chicken, goat, pork, sheep, duck, and turkey. As with humans, variety, including species, cuts, and organs, is important.

PS: With the Paco barter, I just emailed them saying what I had to offer (as of right now I've bartered an iPod and some FitPaws stuff), and when they were interested in it I sent it out to them. I emailed them what I wanted, and they shipped it out once it was done. It was super easy, and I'm going to ask about bartering for a belt soon!
We found a local co-op!!!! We're going to be able to get so many things that we need and I can't tell you how excited I am! Thanks for sharing your experience. You've given me a lot of ideas. Both me and my boyfriend have been on the hunt for quality meat sources and we found 2 :)
ReplyDeleteYour pups will feast! Thanks for stopping by Pooch Smooches!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you had wolfdogs! I just caught your "about me" section. Which explains to me the raw prey diet you give them. So do you ever give them any greens of any kind? Or just straight out protein?
ReplyDeleteOh, and I was curious how your chicks were doing? Growing fast I bet! Are those for the dogs or did you get egg layers? Or a little of both?
They are mostly for eggs. Unless I end up with a mean roo
DeleteAll we can say is drool drool. Have a fabulous Friday.

I love learning about raw food from your blog, you always have great info and tips, and as I have often thought about switching to raw, at least half of the time, i am glad for you sharing this. Thanks!
