Our Exciting New Year's Eve Celebration (Photo Spam)

I'm on call for work all week.  I can't drink, can't make super solid plans.  It's an exciting life I lead.

I took the dogs for long walks through the woods, down to the creek.  I actually took Neeko yesterday afternoon, alone, and both boys this afternoon.

Something smells good.

Muddy nose.

Unfortunately I learned how cold the water was...

Big smile!
For some reason, he seems to be blowing coat.  The windchill was 0 F today.

"Look at this awesome ice!"

Bruce isn't a huge fan of the water.

My boys.

Size difference.

I am not sure what he was fishing for, but he stuck his entire head underwater several times.

As mentioned, the windchill was 0 F today, and the air temp was in the upper teens.  Faolan's long leash got stuck under a large rock in the creek.  I had on my Bogs, and waded out to free it.  Unfortunately I stepped in water too deep, and frigid water filled one of my boots.  I finally freed the leash, and then had to make the 10 minute walk back to the house.  I was sure my foot was going to fall off, but it is fine now.

Not sure about his expression, but one can see the water froze to his whiskers.  It was very cold.

  4. Those are such great pics. It has been so cold, but... where's the snow?! Also, I can't explain it either, but Lucas is blowing coat, too. Huge tufts are swirling around the house. We're past that, right, buddy?
