A Girl and Her Dog

K. is my niece, and Nanuk is my "nephew."

K. is a sweet, smart, animal-loving child.  I wouldn't expect anything else from a member of my family.

Nanuk (means Polar Bear) was adopted from a somewhat local humane society in December.  He is (supposedly) a Great Pyrenees/Siberian Husky mix.  He's probably about 6-8 months old, and a very sweet boy.

I took these photos last weekend at a family get together at my parents' house.  These two have a great relationship.

This tree is probably my favorite thing on my parents' property.
