Four years ago today, Bruce was officially adopted. He came from a local rescue group, an owner surrender to a local Humane Society. Though he is a rescue, I do know his lineage.
Bruce and I have had our fair share of ups and downs, but I often talk about how much he has taught me over these last few years. Fortunately, we experience many more ups than downs nowadays.
He is labile, has fear aggression, resource guards, is incredibly strong, and overreacts. But he is also funny, affectionate, smart, and very obedient at times.
He has changed the way I think, and has taught me that patience, love, and consistency are key.
