Happy Valentine's Day

Bruce gave me some heartache for Valentine's Day.
My rotten dogs (and Les) were my favorite funny Valentine's.
Breakfast was beef lung.

I picked up a very cute Pug magnet, like the Cocker Spaniel one I bought my sister.

I am giving this to awesome neighbors across the street, who have a Pug and two Golden Retrievers.

While at work yesterday (V day), the vet called and left me a voicemail. Bruce's blood work from his appointment Tuesday. His calcium and potassium were elevated, along with his blood glucose.
I immediately was worried. I attempted calling the vet back twice, but was unable to reach her.
Google was not my friend. I read about diabetes, Addison's Disease, parathyroid and kidney problems. I was nauseous and on the verge of tears.
Les drove me to pick up the coOp order, because I was so upset. We came home, and I hugged and squeezed Bruce.
For dinner, they had chicken leg quarters and supplement meatballs.

Les bought me a new camera!! It's a Canon sx500 is. I cannot wait to figure it out and take pictures of my pups!

  1. Aww, I hope Bruce is okay.

New camera! I can't wait until I get a replacement for this Fuji I've currently got. The broken screen makes it very difficult to take pictures, so I take five times as many as I normally would and hope one turns out alright.

    1. Les has a DSLR, but it's too fancy for me. This new one is a bit nicer than a typical point and shoot, with some manual setting options. I'm eager to figure it out.

    2. I'm really wanting one of those fancy DSLR cameras. I've got an old-fashioned film SLR that I just LOVE, but buying and developing the film is expensive, especially since I am particular about what I like to use. With the number of photos I take on any given day, I'd be able to buy a mid-range DSLR in about six months worth of film shooting if I used that instead of the point-and-shoot. If I had all my own developing/printing supplies that'd be different, but buying all that stuff and replenishing the supplies will, again, cost about the same as a mid-range DSLR. One day I hope to be able to do both, but that's a long ways off.
