Wysong Dream Treats from Review

The nice folks at Chewy provided me with the opportunity to review these Wysong Dream Treats, and knowing my dogs would love them, I jumped at the chance.

As a raw feeder, I am somewhat familiar with the Wysong company, as they are a producer of dehydrated raw products, in addition to other high quality items including a starch free kibble.

Our treats were delivered to our house yesterday, and we received the rabbit variety.  Also available on the Chewy website are chicken and quail Dream Treats.

Neeko happily volunteered to be the customs/inspection agent and first critic.

As mentioned, we received the Rabbit Dream Treats.  These treats are freeze dried, and one thing I have noticed with packages of dehydrated or freeze dried treats is that there typically seems to be a large amount of breakage, resulting in dust/crumbs.  Considering that these treats were shipped, I was particularly worried about the amount of intact treats we would receive.

Every. Single. Treat. was intact upon arrival.  I am VERY impressed by this.

Ingredients-Rabbit, Natural Flavor, Taurine, Organic Blueberry, Organic Barley Grass, Chia Seeds, Broccoli Sprouts, Carrots, Plums, Whey, Sea Salt, Dried Kelp, Yeast Extract, Citric Acid, Mixed Tocopherols, Rosemary Extract, Yeast Culture, Minerals (Potassium Chloride, Zinc Proteinate, Zinc Sulfate, Ferrous Sulfate, Iron Proteinate, Copper Sulfate, Copper Proteinate, Manganese Sulfate, Manganese Proteinate, Sodium Selenite, Calcium Iodate), Calcium Carbonate, Vitamins (Ascorbic Acid [source of Vitamin C], Vitamin E Supplement, Niacin Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Vitamin A Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Biotin, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Folic Acid), Dried Bacillus licheniformis Fermentation Product, Dried Aspergillus oryzae Fermentation Product, Dried Aspergillus niger Fermentation Product, Dried Enterococcus faecium Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus casei Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus acidophilus Fermentation Product, Dried Bacillus subtilis Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus plantarum Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus lactis Fermentation Product.

I like that rabbit is the primary ingredient, followed by fruits, veggies, vitamins and probiotics. There are two ingredients that are very slightly concerning to me, the yeast extract and yeast culture.  The only reason they are of concern is because of Bruce's yeast allergy.  Big boy won't be getting to enjoy these.  Many people praise nutritional yeast for dogs' coat health, and I personally have no problem with it, unless Bruce gets some.

These treats are large, circular discs.  Shown with a US quarter for size comparison.

Wysong dream treats review
I should have vacuumed my rug first...

They are easily and cleanly broken into smaller pieces, which is always a benefit.

Neeko's verdict-she LOVED them, and could hardly hold still once she realized what she was getting.

My girl normally has a pretty solid "wait" but I barely had time to snap a picture after telling her to wait before she went for it.  No training criticism, please.

I have also offered these to Faolan, who can be a huge treat snob, and he also ate his with gusto.  I am quite impressed with Neeko's response to these, as she flat out refuses to eat raw rabbit when it is offered to her.  These treats are made by a great company, are not "cooked", and contain quality ingredients.

These Wysong Dream Treats are currently on sale for 20% off on!

Disclaimer-I was provided with free product in exchange for an honest review.  All opinions expressed are strictly my own.

  1. Yumm, these sound delicious - Mom wonders if they would stop us from harassing the rabbits that invade our kingdom:)

Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning

  2. I'm thinking my dog Ace and my cats would love these! I don't think I've ever given them Wysong treats.

  3. Nice! I have yet to try anything by Wysong, though I've noted the brand before. Will keep an eye out for these.

  4. (I always love seeing photos of Neeko... :D )

Those sound like some amazing treats! My Rara unfortunately can't have hard treats, because of a bad stomach. And Lancer is too interested in everything aimlessly for these treats to be wasted upon. LOL!

Thanks for the howls!!
