Newman's Own Organics Review and Chewy.com Giveaway

Chewy recently asked us to review these New Zealand Ranch Style Dog Treats made by Newman's Own.  I like Newman's Own because of their philanthropic views and commitment to high quality ingredients.  Their pet products are no exception.

We received our Lamb & Sweet Potato treats yesterday, and of course could not wait to try them out.

Once again, Neeko insisted on being the initial tester.

Ingredients-Organic Barley, Organic Lamb, Organic Sweet Potatoes, Organic Palm Oil (Preserved with Mixed Tocopherols, a Source of Vitamin E), Organic Pumpkin, Organic Cane Molasses, Organic Carrots.

ALL organic ingredients.  That is impressive. I also like that these contain relatively simple ingredients, all of which I am okay with giving to my dogs.  Some might argue the cane molasses, but it is the second to last ingredient, and it is not like I am offering my dogs cups of sugar each day. These are made in New Zealand, which is one of the few countries other than the US I am comfortable offering my dogs products from.

These are thick, biscuit-type treats.  They come two to a "bar" and easily snap apart.

She almost always blinks or squints when the flash goes off.

Neeko loved these treats.  Note her anticipatory smile, and slight squint/durr face because of the flash.

Ignore my scary, dry hands.  It's been a rough winter.
