Who's a Good Dog? #ChewyInfluencer

"Who's a good dog?"

What dog owner hasn't asked this question?  I know I have, multiple times in succession on occasion.  Though I frequently complain about my dogs and their antics, I do feel that they are pretty good dogs.

I frequently bribe my dogs with treats.  I also frequently give them treats just because.  My favorite treats to give my crew are meat-based treats with limited ingredients.

Enter ZiwiPeak Good-Dog Venison Jerky Treats provided by the nice folks at chewy.com

As most know, I am a huge fan of venison.  My dogs love it, it's good for them.  ZiwiPeak sources theirs from New Zealand, which is perfectly acceptable to me.  These are air-dried, so I don't feel that they are overly processed, and contain very limited, simple ingredients.

They are small, thin strips, and easily break apart into smaller pieces.  The bag, though light, contains an abundant amount of treats, particularly if you break them into smaller pieces.  The crumble factor within the bag was virtually non-existent, which always makes me happy.

Faolan (and Neeko and Bruce) love these.  Faolan can be a bit of a treat snob, but he readily ate these, and barked me at me demanding more.  This is his ultimate seal of approval.

While I didn't feel that they had much of a smell at all, Faolan found them good enough to scent roll on.  I was able to catch the tail end of this on video, along with what I refer to as his "cute face" as he anticipates more treats.

Overall, I am pleased.  Venison-based treats with limited ingredients, that I feel good giving to my dogs.  Simply because they are good dogs.  Some of the time...

I was provided with complimentary product.  All opinions are my own.

  2. Limited ingredients is key in my book. Also, I like to be able to pronounce the ingredient. :-)
