Part of my commitment to providing my dogs the most natural life and diet possible is seeking out treats that are natural, simple, and palatable. Faolan is a notorious treat snob. He is known to flat out turn his nose up at some treats. When presented with the opportunity to try out Sojos new Simply Meat treats, I knew who the first tester was going to be.
As a raw feeder, I am fan of Sojos and all they stand for. Namely, that dogs deserve real food.
We were provided with the Turkey variety of their Simply Meat treats. These are freeze dried in the Sojos facility in Minnesota. USA made, one has to love that.
These contain ONE ingredient. Turkey. That's it. That's awesome. These treats are also available in lamb and beef.
Their size makes them perfect training treats. I am surprised by how sturdy they are. Many single ingredient treats seem to be crumbly, and no crumbling whatsoever has occurred with these. I am fully confident they can handle a day in a treat pouch.
My little wolf's butt hit the floor as soon as he was offered one. There was no hesitation on his part at all, which is kind of unusual. He is a world class treat snob, after all.
Horrible photography on my part, but his expression is hilarious. |

I'm hard pressed to find a food that my senior boxer-pit mix doesn't eat ;) Also, I believe in feeding Buster a healthy diet of whole grains, meats, fish, omegas (no processed anything)--we've had him about three months and it's amazing the transformation he's made. His coat is SO incredibly shiny!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of Sojo's. Unfortunately, Ruby didn't like their food but I love their biscuits. We've been wanting to try these treats, too.
ReplyDeleteThat's great!!! My huskies would love these! Simply because they are real meat! One ingredient!!!
ReplyDeleteYou know they are good treats when there is only one ingredient!! Hopefully this giveaway is open in Canada too!

Kimberly has almost convinced me to feed raw. Well, dehydrated raw. It's fascinating. Sojo looks way cool.

We like the idea of not having a whole list of ingredients and turkey should be for more than just Thanksgiving dinner.
ReplyDeleteThese look so yummy... I'm sure they would be a great treat on the agility practice field!!
ReplyDeleteGlad the wolfdogs like them! And it is nice they don't fall apart. Big Plus!
ReplyDeleteOh, I would love to win these treats! Thanks for the chance to win. I think Sojos is such a great company.
ReplyDeleteThose sound great! Faolan looks like he's burning a hole through your hand. He wants that treat so bad.
ReplyDeleteYummy! Single ingredient treats are such a fabulous idea, especially for dogs with allergies.
ReplyDeleteRuckus would love the fact that they are just ONE ingredient!
ReplyDeleteCan't go wrong with treats - or food - like this! I'm sure all of mine would enjoy them, and I think they'd be great treats for training the pup as well. Hope to try them!
ReplyDeleteThe reason why I think my dogs will like this is because love meat treat anything.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to try Sojo's but just hadn't gotten around to ordering any yet. I've heard good things about them, and your review verifies it. I'd love these for training, and I'm pretty sure the dogs love turkey!

I have been wanting to try Sojo for a long time and I love trying new treats! :)
ReplyDeleteI try my best to feed my pups the best there is, though them being picky, it's tough finding them treats they like that are good for them. These being actual pure meat, I'm sure they would go crazy for these!
ReplyDeleteBecause my dog likes any treats! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a puppy that's having some stomach issues, so single ingredient treats would be great to try!
ReplyDeleteThis is right up my 2 sibs alley!
ReplyDeleteMy pup likes anything edible. I'm sure he'd love these.
ReplyDeleteMy dogs just like food in general, healthy or not. I would like these because of the high grade ingredients used to make them.
