Sojos Simply Turkey Dog Treats Review and Giveaway

Part of my commitment to providing my dogs the most natural life and diet possible is seeking out treats that are natural, simple, and palatable.  Faolan is a notorious treat snob.  He is known to flat out turn his nose up at some treats.  When presented with the opportunity to try out Sojos new Simply Meat treats, I knew who the first tester was going to be.

As a raw feeder, I am fan of Sojos and all they stand for.  Namely, that dogs deserve real food.

We were provided with the Turkey variety of their Simply Meat treats.  These are freeze dried in the Sojos facility in Minnesota.  USA made, one has to love that.

These contain ONE ingredient.  Turkey.  That's it.  That's awesome.  These treats are also available in lamb and beef.

Their size makes them perfect training treats.  I am surprised by how sturdy they are.  Many single ingredient treats seem to be crumbly, and no crumbling whatsoever has occurred with these.  I am fully confident they can handle a day in a treat pouch.

My little wolf's butt hit the floor as soon as he was offered one.  There was no hesitation on his part at all, which is kind of unusual.  He is a world class treat snob, after all.

Horrible photography on my part, but his expression is hilarious.
These are proving to be a huge hit with all three.  We have doing touch/targeting with Bruce, and he started bumping the back of my hand with his nose as soon as he realized I was holding some of these.  Neeko howled for them.  I cannot find a single downfall to these treats, and am incredibly pleased.

  4. I'm hard pressed to find a food that my senior boxer-pit mix doesn't eat ;) Also, I believe in feeding Buster a healthy diet of whole grains, meats, fish, omegas (no processed anything)--we've had him about three months and it's amazing the transformation he's made. His coat is SO incredibly shiny!!

  8. We like the idea of not having a whole list of ingredients and turkey should be for more than just Thanksgiving dinner.
