December 2015 BarkBox Review

I am a BarkBox subscriber.  I am not asked or encouraged to do these reviews.  All opinions are my own.

We received our December BarkBox earlier this week.  I have been without an Internet connection all week, thus the delay in posting.  Reviews of previous and/or current BarkBoxes can be read HERE.

I know last month I said that BarkBox no longer appears to have themes with their boxes, but this month's box definitely has a Christmas feel.

The Goods

frosty hat for dogs
BarkMade Frosty's Fedora Toy.  Absolutely adorable hat-shaped toy.  Crinkly, with a large disc squeaker in the top.  I am going to put this to good use.  Not as a toy, but as a prop.  I'm looking at you, Neeko...

barkbox treat tin
BarkMade Treat Tin.  Treat tin with a window in it.  Fun and functional.  I may fill it with treats and give it as a gift.

Flurries for Fido dog treats.  Another BarkMade product.  Wheat, corn, soy, gluten, and yeast-free biscuit treats with simple ingredients.  Oat flour, lamb, coconut oil, honey, and rosemary extract.  That's it!  Bruce loves biscuit treats, so I am sure these will be a hit.

dog toy or sex toy
Orbee Tuff Carrot.  Approximate retail value $14.95.  You guys, I can't...I mean BarkBox did create the phrase "dog toy or sex toy" but I can't...Anyways this is a an open at both ends toy designed to be filled with treats.  It is buoyant and bounces.  Like other Orbee toys, it has a delicious minty smell.  I just can't get over it.

Butcher's Block Trachea Chew.  My dogs love dehydrated trachea, so I am very happy to have received this!

Droolers Soft Dog Treats.  I had not heard of this brand until receiving these.  That is a benefit of subscription boxes.  These soft treats are grain and soy-free, but unfortunately contain yeast, so Bruce cannot have any.  They don't have the greatest ingredients, but are small, soft, and stinky, so something my dogs are willing to work for.  To avoid confusion, I will gift or donate these, to avoid the risk of Bruce eating one and suffering an ear infection because of it.

Overall, I am pleased with this month's BarkBox.  A cute toy that will double as a photo prop, a sex   treat dispensing toy, two bags of treats, and a natural chew.  I love Christmas, so am glad that they decided to go with a Christmas theme this month.  To try BarkBox for yourself, click HERE.
