May 2013 Spoiled Rotten Box Review

Today we received our Petflow Spoiled Rotten Box in the mail.  You can see reviews for March and April with links to previous months' reviews.

The Goods

Superior Farms Lamb Toasters.  Approximate retail value $7.99.  We received these in our January BarkBox, and they were a huge hit.  Any dehydrated meat treat is a huge hit in my house.
Merrick Beef Ear Chew.  Approximate retail value $1.99.  This seems like a pig ear/rawhide combo.  My dogs have never had these before, but I am interested in trying it, in hopes that it is more like a pig ear than rawhide.  I am sure whoever gets it will enjoy it.
Zukes Apple Dental Z-bone.  Approximate retail value $5.99.  This is based off the info card that came with the box.  I know I have seen these cheaper at Pet Supplies Plus.  Zukes is a company I like and respect.  I have bought these bars before, just in the larger size.  I feel these have much better ingredients than Greenies.  I am sure this will be well received by the woofer who gets it.

Petrageous RoadRageous Robbie the Rabbit Toy.  Approximate retail value $9.99.  Stuffingless toy with one squeaker.  While I am sure my crew would love to tear this to shreds, this is going into the bag of toys for the shelter pups when I make my next donation drop off.
Medvet Ultra Puppy Wipes.  Approximate retail value $5.99.  We received some thing similar in the January Spoiled Rotten Box and April BarkBox.  These wipes are handy to have around, to clean paws, ears, and to use for a quick freshen up.  My dogs have not been bathed since October, and do not stink.  I attribute this to a raw diet.  I do use these wipes for quick wipe downs every other week or so, and to clean dirty paws.
Ark Naturals Gentle Digest Supplement.  Approximate retail value $8.99.  A full sized bottle of pro and prebiotics.  We received another supplement from this company last month.  This appears to be a good product, from what appears to be a good company, and will be nice to have on hand should we encounter any GI upsets.
YumZies BBQ Chicken Soft Treats.  Approximate retail value $6.99.  Grain-free, which is great.  Contains yeast, which is not great, for Bruce.  : (  We received a different flavor of these same treats in January, and they were a hit with Neeko and Faolan, as Bruce was not allowed to have any, due to them containing yeast.  It is kind of a hassle having to separate treats so that Les doesn't accidentally give Bruce one containing yeast.  I am contemplating dropping these in the bag for the shelter pups.

This month's Spoiled Rotten Box is okay.  The only completely new product is the Beef Ear Chew.  My favorite product by far is the package of lamb treats.  The digestive supplement will be good to have around, as will the wipes.
