The Goods
No Grainers BBQ Chicken Treats. Approximate retail value $7.19. We have received other treats from this company in the past, in our July 2013 BarkBox. These are yeast and grain free, and made in the USA. Weirdo Faolan can be picky about treats, but I am sure Neeko and Bruce will be appreciative of them.
Bionic Urban Stick Dog Toy. Approximate retail value $18.26. Surprisingly sturdy feeling rubber toy. The ends are hollowed out, and can be stuffed with peanut butter, according to the label. This toy supposedly holds up to tough chewing. HA! We will see. Honestly, I am very pleased to receive this toy, and it is one I will actually let my crew have a go at.
Zuke's Clean Carrot Crisp Giant Z Bone. Approximate retail value $5.58. This is a very large dental bone, with ingredients that are quite good compared to many other dental treats out there. It is grain free, and I know that Bruce will enjoy this. I do feel slightly funny about it, as Zuke's was recently purchased by Purina. But I will go ahead and offer this up anyways.
Snicky Snaks Apple Cobbler Organic Dog Treats. Unknown value. These are made with quality ingredients, and are certified USDA organic. Made in the USA, and do not contain any questionable ingredients. The company seems very nice. I like all of this. They are small biscuit type treats. Because I feel that this is a treat that Faolan will not like as well, I am going to put them in the box to be donated to the shelter. I am not at all disappointed with this treat though.
All in all, this month's BarkBox is just okay in my opinion. The toy is pretty fantastic, and far and away my favorite item this month.

The stick toy looks like a fun idea and stuffing it with something good will make it even more fun. Have a marvellous Monday.

The toy does look pretty cool. Shiner is also destructo-dog when it comes to toys. She has 3 that have survived her chewing for months. An antler, a west paw bone, and a skineez.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, we got very different stuff then you this month!
ReplyDeleteThat rubber toy looks cool!!!! The only things we got the same are the cobbler treats and the jerky treats!
Thanks for a great review!

ReplyDeleteWould love to know how the toy works out. We have one like it, but it doesn't seem to be a favorite.

I think it all sounds pretty good. Ace would love that toy as well!
ReplyDeleteSo, how did the "Bionic stick" hold up? With Anya, the pup, I'm always looking for quality, long lasting, 'chewies' for her. Curious to see what you think of it.
