THK Proper Toppers #ChewyInfluencer

I haven't met a product from The Honest Kitchen that I haven't liked.  Seriously.  So I jumped at the opportunity to try out their Proper Toppers, courtesy of chewy.com.

I had a family dog staying with me for five days late last week into early this week.  I have written about Sully in the past.  He is an exceptionally sweet, good dog.  I'm not used to that.  Just joking.  Not really...

I decided to let Sully be the first to try out these goodies.  Sully eats a high quality grain-free kibble, supplemented with various real food stuffs.

The Proper Toppers are nearly the same color as his kibble.
I was sent the turkey variety, they are also available in chicken.  They consist of 90% human grade dehydrated turkey, followed by apples, pumpkin, chard, and blueberries, along with various vitamins and minerals.  These can be used as a food topper, treat, or a complete diet.

They are small in size, don't crumble easily, and low odor.

Sully LOVED them.  That may be an understatement.  He pulled out everything from his beagle bag of tricks for them.

As with all The Honest Kitchen products, I have zero hesitation offering these to my dogs or any other dog I know, barring any food allergies.

My dogs are also huge fans of them.  All three attempted to shove their snouts in my jacket pocket, where I was hiding the Proper Toppers.

Of course, I also had to offer them some over their raw meals.

This should come as no surprise, but I am completely satisfied with the Proper Toppers.  What little that is left of the bag will be used as high-value training treats for my crew.

I was provided with complimentary product.  All opinions are my own.

  1. My pups taste-tested the chicken & turkey toppers, and really liked them as well! I used them as toppers on their raw food, and also as training rewards :-)
